Touch up. That can be filled and detailed !!!!!!
Yep --if you stare at it you'll see it barely -- BUT painting the panel places a lot more doubt upon resale than seeing the remnants of that small nick.

You ought to be able to find somebody to push the ding out. They must drill a hole in the door jamb, but somebody good will make it look perfect. I agree, touch it up. You ought to be able fto find a good shop to do that for half that price (at the most).

Why drill a hole in the door jamb when you can just remove the rear wheel and pull the cowling?

I just used the product from Dr ColorChip on my Panamera (caught a rock in the hood while on the highway). It is not perfect, but better than other touch-up options.

Many detailing shops are very good at doing touch ups and partial panel repairs. I use a local "Mr. Dent" shop here for small dings and he can make them completely disappear most of the time...for about $150 max.

Def. do not respray the panel...I don't really consider touch-up, paintwork, but a respray def. is...

It looks small enough that some cover up will do the trick...most people won't be looking that closely anyway...

barely noticeable is ok....if its a dd. but if its a garage queen/wkend warrior/collector plate/ owner that cares
#1, no malls or parking lots (in fact anyone taking a porsche, m3, or any car of consequence / value should understand & pay for the consequence & not complain about it....these locations are filled with bad parkers/bad drivers/****ty cars or badass owners that have no appreciation of your vehicle
#2...if you care get it fixed so that its not noticeable. perhaps some colors can be spot sprayed (perhaps) but usually best/least detectable is panel spray

depends on what you want (here after 18 yrs)
