What is this?

Can anyone tell me please what this part does?
It's attached to the control arm on the driver side.
Is it the part of the PSM. or PASM.

Assuming that is only one in the front ,how dose it work. Is it sending different electrical signals to dampers at all the time.
What happens after the car is lower 15-20 mm.and as a resold the connector arm got push? The traveling range of the arm is much shorter, does it matter ?
