We had a great customer arrive at Fabspeed Motorsports with our Muffler Bypass pipes and 200 cell German Imported HJS sport catalytic converters. Being a TipTronic Cabriolet, this exhaust system was too loud for daily driving, so we swapped the muffler bypass pipes for our Ver. 3 Maxflo Mufflers. While here at the shop, we installed EVOMS Boost Recirculation Valves and strapped the Turbo onto our DynoJet 4WD and ran a baseline test with the exhaust and BRV's. Power was 398HP and 436 ft-lbs of torque. After removing the ECU and having Todd from EVO Motorsport's personally tune the Turbo (Todd was here at Fabspeed for the week) power increased to 476HP and 535 ft-lbs of torque!
Visit www.fabspeed.com for more information regarding exhaust system upgrades for your Porsche Turbo, and visit www.evomsit.com for more information on ECU tuning.
