My car is at 25k miles; I guess the questions are how do we know when I need to have the PCCB pads changed? And how many miles typically for a non-track car?
Thanks.
I have been told to not let the pccb pads get more than 50%. Especially if you track the car.
Cause they can get burned you're right but the signal will turn on always earlier
And 50% is way too early for changing breaks

there is no set mileage tracked or not...varies greatly depending on driving style...you will get a sensor warning when they need replacement if just a street car (for track usually replaced when less than 50% material remaining)...take off a wheel and take a look (inside and outside of the rotor
1. Brake pad will have warning when needing replacement.
2. Brake rotors do not have any sensor warning, correct? I understand need for replacement is determined by weighing the rotor or something odd like that?
Thanks.

I believe the pccb rotors have circles impregnated in the composite face of the rotor that change color when worn.
For the record, I would never use these on a car that sees a lot of fast run group track time. I'm on my second set of rotors now, looking at a third before much longer.

I'm sure if Mr. Behbehani sees or any of his associates sees these posts, they will be trembling with fear and give you parts for free...

Can just hanged up the phone from the service center
Asked him how do they determine the validity of the rotors
The Answer was:
There's a crafted warning from the inside part of the rotors that will appear as soon as the rotors expire
