Thanks Ray
My car is ROW spec and I still have the signal warning light on and the turn signal flash faster than before. I also notice that the fog warning light is on, I don't know if you had the same issue when you installed the light.
Can you please add the resistors to the CF steering wheel cover package. Thanks a lot for the help, rep point to you
I will be out of town for the next 2 weeks and I am not sure I will have internet access, but I will contact you when I get back

Thats exactly what I was thinking as well.
There are some sprays out in the market that you can use yourself to tint the 3rd brake light. Depending on how many coats you do, you can achieve the same shade... Should be easy to do...

Looks great btw. Sorry to hear about the trouble, very annoying considering the price. Having said that, this is one of the better looking products for our cars I have seen in ages. Perhaps it would be worth the research to sort out - its all a matter of resistors.

Really like the tinted lenses on your car. It really changes the look of the rear end and ties in with your wheels/tailpipes nicely. The third light needs to be tinted in order to finish it off. I'm sure that a dark plastic film cut to size would do the trick. Take it to a shop that installs clear bra's and see if they can match the color using a film with the proper shade.

f360c5 - lights look great. I am concerned about the heat issue as well. Obviously there are resistors for the brake lights as well? This may be a huge issue for me as I do DRL and the back lights are always on. I can only imagine how much heat that might generate....

How are the lights tinted? Is it a film, spray paint or smoked plastic? Does the tint look like it would scratch off? How do you treat it when you wash the car?

I am still communicating with the vender of the lights to get the issues resolved
For the 3rd brake light, I am thinking of having it professionally painted to match the tail lights

Thanks, I am thinking of painting them more than film tinting

Thanks,
unfortunately I did not get a chance to drive the car much after I installed the light to give a detailed report. During the installation when I was testing the connections, I noticed the base of the light get hot. Which correspond to the location of the resistors.
I will be back home next week and I will get a chance to do more testing and I will report back

The lights are painted and then clear coated, they don't need any special care.
They will scratch if you don't treat them like any clear coat paint. After I installed the lights I applied 3 coats of Zaino polish (Z-2) to protect them
