Key Question

Here's a new one - bought a used 2008 997TT. Dealer gave me two keys - both remotes work and both keys work in the ignition but only one key works in the door lock and glove box lock. Initital response was that someone put the wrong key blank in the remote head. So we ordered a new key blank - only the dealer can do that and they order it by VIN. New blank comes in and it is exactly the same as the blank on the key that doesn't work in the locks. Dealer thinks both door lock and glove box lock may have been changed, although I think that's a real stretch explannation. Questions:

1) Do you think PCNA's key cutting program could be wrong?

2) Can a good locksmith cut Porsche key blanks?

Thanks.

Got it resolved - found a local locksmith who could cut a blank key blade to match the one key I had that worked. Dealer is convinced that locks were changed at some point since the VIN method of cutting the key from Porsche still provides wrong key,
