Nasser, your issue seems only "mechanic", your tune is Ok (?), and it is the harder I think.
Are you sure you can't fix your problem with a good mechanic man at home?

There's a member here just reading he's very well involved in this subject I hope he show his face without me telling him and let him self in and answer a few question I believe to many question for one person and nasser seems to be a bit upset for his car taking all this time and with a big drop in the dyno numbers
In the end we're talking about more than 33%

No man, you can use the awd dyno on the GT2. Just back it on, add the numbers to the regular run and you got it!

That dyno sheet shows 1200 hp not tq ...am i missing something?I can tell you one thing .....there is no way its making 1200lb ft tq on a Mustang so something is wrong with the dyno or its calibration.Todd Knighton is a good tuner so i would bet the dyno is mis calibrated.A dynapack will definetly read higher than a Mustang but something is off here with that dyno.

I'm 100% sure there is something wrong with the dyno calibrations. I don't know where Nasser took his car for dyno but the dyno i used was a Mustang dyno and my car did 801hp with less parts than Nasser, so no way on the earth Nasser build is in 900hp range.
Nasser if you want to take your car to the same dyno where i did mine let me know.

Take the word from me the guys where you took your car i'm sure they don't have a clue what they are doing. <O</O

You can't get the same # from totally diff. dyno's.
<O</OThere is a lot of info (inputs) you need to know to caliberate the dyno before you put your can on it that will affect the readings.<O</O

1)protomotive will not take any responsibility in regards to a customer that takes his for a drive before finalizing all the issues+tune
2) protomotive will not guarantee any results for a customer that takes his car before completion, especially when the car is suffering a leak from the oil lines, and than taking the car somewhere else to fix the oil line, yet the issued was not solved and suffered from another failure in the oil line.

when i met todd and told me the story i dont balme him for anything that has happened and its not his responsibility nor its his duty to clean some1's else's mess.

we'll wait for another 3.8L project from Protomotive and i'll update u guys with results hopefully, done here in kuwait

and the dyno numbers will prove, that messing with a car that u lack knowledge off can cause catastrophic results hence the sudden low dyno numbers

Is that happend?

With my old 997 i went to a garage as a specialized in German cars, the owner from UK and the technical guys from Philippine, I swear they don't know how to install the 3" IC, they said it will not fit and they guarantee that it will not fit it is for sure for another Porsche models.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
They don’t' know how to do a leak test. <o></o>

Guys before starting throwing allegations here and there and do damage to professionals in the States or Dubai it is better to know the story from both sides and not make verdicts with out knowing all the facts.

I am not going to comment on the mechanical stuff but regarding the two different dynos used (dynapack and mustang) you always have higher numbers on the dynapack than the mustang. Dynapack can show power both in the wheels or the crank using corrections factors(in the posted sheet I guess it is not on the wheels). In the dynapack it was also used SAE (always with SAE shows much higher numbers) which unfortunately it is not possible for anyone apart the guy who uses the dyno what correction factors are there.
On the other hand Nasser's car was measured on a mustang chassis dyno with power shown on the wheels.
It showed 934 RWHP with 1225 NM and not ft/lb torque.
The dyno when the runs were made was stopping the run due to the speed.
Heat in the room after 1 hour was high aswell.

Oh and John there is no need to mention for a random garage that you had bad experience with before, cause it might confuse the other member and think that it was the same garage with the one Nasser used to fit in the engine the first time and fix the engine the second time with Todd present to do the timing himself and fix the problem with modifying the tensioner cap and the passes for the two screws .

this thread is on HEAT Jesus
i went to Bahrain porsche Agency and gave them Evoms BOV's once
and they end up scratching there heads and looking into each others they thought i bought cow bells to hang they came out of the garage hanging the BOV's around there necks

this is right we cant blame a garage for not having experience what ever my personal action would be absolutely different i'd never let a random garage to do any thing with my car to keep my tuner under 100% responsibility !
any how still i want to wait for the car owner to explain he's side of view

My dear friend. My joining date or location or the number of posts doesn't mean anything. At least to what ever it has to do with the forum or me. I simply dont want to see mud thrown left or right and start chasing ghosts. Even if I am working for the workshop. If what I was saying was written by someone else with more posts it would have more ground when saying don't judge someones work without knowing the full story?

Anyway I am not writing anyone's side of story, because first of all we (the forum members) don't have Todd's side of story nor Nasser's full side of story. So how can I write the garage side of story. You only have stories from people not involved in this directly and make assumptions or play the game of the broken phone (he told me this and that and the other) apart from Nasser who didn't throw any blame to anyone yet IF there is someone to blame. Also the name of the garage is not mentioned so there might be a third garage in the middle which BLKF430 is talking about or maybe he got it wrong and add up a bit of his own comments. This is why I didn't and I wont write anything for the mechanical failures and wrote only about the dyno figures.
