Big Loss!
That is a sad tragedy for all involved and also I hope the innocent car that pulled out was ok.
As others have said though, if you choose to drive at 200kph above the highway speed limit then the driver alone is responsible for any accident. Another driver, even at the maximum legal speed of 120kph cannot be expected to foresee that someone will pass him at 320kph and if it was at night judging closing distances from headlights in the re-view mirror is very hard.
Even on the Autobahn, where such speeds are legal and to a greater degree expected by other drivers, it is still extremely difficult to drive at those speeds. I've done it lots of times and the only really safe way to do it is when you can see either no cars at all in the next 1/2 mile, or where they are so spread out that they would have no need to overtake and lane-change.

This thread is to share prayers and sympathies. But I will indulge your ranting anyway.
What you are saying makes complete sense.
People from Kuwait will understand what I am saying. You have people who have no regard for ANYONE around whether they are going 20 or 200.
We have an infamous long highway stretching for more than 100km that takes you to chalets and the Saudi border. Along this highway are various entry points either from other ring roads or U-Turns for going in opposite directions.
People DO NOT compensate for oncoming traffic here in Kuwait and just shoot in front of you instead of merging in like a normal human being. Specifically late at night and early in the morning. These are the people I call idiots and this is why I said "Especially in the Middle East, since our highway structures are very similar.
But yea you're absolutely right, we must compensate for those around us ESPECIALLY when speeding.
I refer to skill in perception of speed, reaction etc. Some people driving our roads simply do not posses this.
May they rest in peace

Understand your comments about the "IDIOTS" now with the context you just provided. I did not mean to rant at you, but your first post seemed to be...."misguided".
Just remember, that when we choose to speed at over +200km/h, we as the drivers will shoulder that responsibility regardless of the other IDIOT drivers.
Peace brother....and to those who lost their lives.

Allah Yirhamhom *May God Have Mercy On Their Souls* This is very sad, unfortunatley in Egypt this happens every day on our roads, people have NO REGARD for safety, bad roads sometimes, bad engineering, ect...
