My Switzer R911 Results from last night
reminds me of bad boys!
thx. not quite the 7.67 s @ 184 mph pass you had
, but still impressive for a street car! Great run Jamie!
we have run our cars on C16, just never at the track. probably 95% of the time, we drive on the street on regular 93 octane pump gas. we just wanted to gauge how fast the car is in true pump gas mode. the best indication is typically through trap speed and 60 - 130 times. i was quite suprised that the 997 turbo was faster than my GT2. the gearing was a big factor as i hit the rev limiter right at the end of the 1/4 mile. the taller gearing in the GT2 puts it at a disadvantage when it comes to a drag race, unless you are pumping a lot more power. i would say that the R911 is capable of high 140's, maybe low 150's on C16 with the right conditions. The car will make 150 more HP and 150 lb ft more torque on C16. 140 mph+ trap speed on 93 is going to be hard to beat on the street. The GT2 would only be faster if the race were to 150 mph since the 997 Turbo would have another shift. But the 997 Turbo is ideal for 60 - 140 mph runs. Congrats Les, your car looks and runs awesome!
thanks
Thanks for all the kind words guys and again great driving DK! I am very happy with the results and know this is the one! Now some GT2 side skirts for some exterior updates and maybe those slick LED rear tails from Rottec. I guess these cars will never be completed LOL
