BTW - as with most exhaust systems, this one is already getting better with age!
I just think you like the sound the more you listen to it (as do I) - age has no impact on EP since there is no insulating material inside the mufflers.

Shark I'm so surprised there has been no Sharkwerks review and install pics from you guys yet??? What on earth is cooking over there in Cali ??? You guys are reknown for your superb install work so please get some installs underway immediately. This is rediculous! Hurry and give the 997tt 6speed members your (long overdue) valuable user opinion reviews! I'm very confident you will confirm EP1 and EP2 are the true killer exhausts for the 997tt....period .

PS. How long do you plan keeping us waiting???

Here are some pics from the install (It's too bad the system gets tucked away out of sight):

Nice install shots....ive got plenty myself,... but am still patiently waiting for Shark W review and pics though. They really need to happen .

The only real area left for improvement of the EP1 and EP2 systems is for EP to offer a true 4 (quad) pipe outlet coming from either the muffler or splitting the muffler outlet pipe at one point to form 4 tubes that will take some quad tips.....at least as an option even though the reality is most prefer to put a 4 hole tip on to finish off .

Finally had my Europipe sports exhaust installed today and picked my car up tonight. What a great drive home it was. The sound is just like Stef described. No loud drone inside the car, but a great Porsche symphony of sound outside. You hear all aspects of the flat six without it just being loud. Anything can be loud, but this exhaust appeases the tonal qualities of your ears. Depending on what gear you're in, you hear different notes and gurgles as you up shift or downshift. There isn't just one note to this instrumental piece, but a cacophony of aural pleasure. I thank Chris for recommending this exhaust. Although the cost maybe somewhat prohibitive; to me, it was worth every penny. Looking forward to taking it out this weekend.
Jay

EP tested quad tips and said the sound was bad - ask Stef. I'll take good sound over looks any day.

What I like about the Europipe on my 997.2 TT is that it sounds very nice and civil inside the cabin. Throaty and exotic with no drone to my ears.

However, it must sound much more exotic and aggressive from the outside because I notice people turning around and staring as I drive by them on the street.

Best of both worlds.

Wish I'd known, I would stuck around to take pictures, just had the exhaust installed at Sharkwerks yesterday. Nice ride home, dunno if the sound will change with time?? Dan and Alex are top notch guys.

Exactly, a quad tip would look sick and definately increase sales. I hate the stock setup and chose an exhaust with that ability to change as one of my criteria. of course if it negatively effects sound then I get whey they wont offer it.

Stage 2 has 76mm plumbing coming out of the muffler and therefore modified tips to accomodate the larger diameter...and louder.
