Turbo cab wheels

I have a black 09 tt cab with Champion RS98 lightweight wheels. Should I paint the polished wheels black? If so, glossy, semi gloss or flat....or rims glossy black and spokes flat? Appreciate any ideas and pics? FYI I have PCCB so a yellow pin stripe is possible but maybe over the top???

Not sure if this helps ... my 2002 996tt, speed yellow, had gloss black wheels with a silver rim. Pics below.

I just had the wheels refinished to satin black throughout (no silver rim), with a thin body-color stripe near the rim. Two main goals: eliminate the silver rim, which matches nothing on the car's exterior, and change gloss to satin, as the rest of the exterior trim is satin, not gloss. Unfortunately, I've not had time to get pics that do justice to the new wheel treatment, and likely it is difficult to see the magnitude of the difference from before to after from these pics (but it's all I have at the moment).

IMO, the satin black accentuates / picks up the other black trim on the car, which is also satin, not gloss. And the "serves no purpose" silver stripe is gone. Again IMO, it turns the look from good to great (for those of us that like the yellow/black look).

Apologies for the feeble pics, but hopefully it gives you a data point.

Good luck with your project
