i recently purchased a wrecked 997 turbo and i am looking to build it up since it is all apart. its a 2008 911 turbo pdk cab it was hit in the rear and the muffler.intercoolers,bumper were dmged and front dmg is just the bumper and rebar. my question is what are some nice parts i can replace the oem parts with for more power and a aggressive look.? i appreciate the input.

 

1st of Congrat's on your new purschase
2nd 2008 doesn't come in PDK, it's called tipronic. PDK's turbo production started 2010+.
3rd look into, techart. speedart, vorsteiner (depending on your budget) .. etc
4th definately swap your IC's and exhaust with after market one's since they r already bust.

I am going to make an assumption that you haven't driven the car and maybe haven't even started the engine.

Depending on the severity of the rear-end hit, I would have the engine and chassis looked at by someone VERY knowledgeable and reputable.

And then again maybe you did your due diligence and it's just bodywork and a few external pieces that need replacing. In either case, good luck and best wishes.

 

o ya i took the whole car apart for a estimate that i did on the car for the insurance company which later wrote it off. The engine starts fine i just pulled it out yesterday for the body color change its gonna go orange and the quater,door and fender i am gonna replica the gemballa 997. AS far as aero kits go i love the techart stuff but way to pricey for me rather throw those fund in the engine is there knock off stuff i can buy? i can do all the fitting myself at the shop. thx spunky for those vendors!!

 

Nr auto I believe does the replica stuff or contact some of our vendors (vivid) should be able to hook you up.

thx for the vedor names guyz i been in contact with vivid racing got some hre 843r's on the way. After the new year ill be picking up a techart replica kit from vivid. ill post step by step on the build thx for ur support guyz..
