Dancing to a Different Tune: New 6speedonline 997.2TT PDK (w/ stock turbos) Record :D
Thanks man! I don't have many videos but I have ran my car against a number of other supercars quite successfully.
The latest I ran was a V12 twin turbo Brabus CL Mercedes.
According to it's owner, he overtook an SLR McLaren.
We raced from 140 kph onto close to top speed.
I came out ahead by one and a half car lengths.
I also ran against some Ferraris, Lambos, etc.. and came out ahead.
The really menacing cars here in Kuwait are the modded Corvettes. These things fly bro. Against the modded vettes, depending on the degree of modifications, it's a toss up. Some I kill, some I get killed by.
It's all mostly in good fun and I enjoy the racing itself, regardless of the outcome.
Thanks bro. I will be visiting that Race Gas guy
today or tomorrow.
I will try running MS109 this wednesday night and see what happens.
Will keep you posted.

As for the engine blowing - bad tunes have blown the M64 block as well. Not to say that RS tuning doesn't know what they are doing, but they were in fact pushing the engine - who knows what they did in programming to cause the failure.

PDK is really efficient. (althouhgt I prefer manual...)
Karol, I think Karim's best 100-200 is realized from 3rd to 4th, one shift, and 0-300 with the 100-200 in 6,69' from 2nd to 4th, so 2 shifts; whatever the PDK is fast, the loss might be there...
Karol, I have called RS Tuning. They never call back. Getting hold of them is like pulling teeth.

Karim, did Scott tune by datalog?

Bob, I had a long conversation with my ecu guy... he told me that porsche reversed 20 years with this new engine...
injectors are also problem as this is direct injection.
why gt2 rs is running with old engine and regular gearbox??
btw we have one user here...he talks a lot with Reinhold Schmirler.
in my opinion it's best porsche tuner but v expensive.
Right, my 633hp manual 6spd runs 0-300 (V-box) in 29,74', but with a clutch conservative 0-100 in 4,2'.

pdk is changing gears without closing throttle body which is very good.
tip probably do the same.
I hope they last until my new wheels get here!

Thanks bro.
Hopefully, there's more to come soon
Thanks! Means a lot coming from you!
Thanks! Also means a lot coming from you!
And you're more than welcome for the data.
Thanks! Yeah I'm loving the way it feels right now!

It's been a very lengthy process Bob.
As you are well aware, the DFI turbo engine along with its ECU and stock programming are quite new.
I have sent datalogs to Scott on multiple occasions using both Durametric, which has been quirky with the 997.2 and using ScanXL Pro, which we arrived to upon the recommendations of Dave (TTDude).
We faced limp mode problems and CEL problems with different tunes, which took time to work out.
The new DFI ECU is always trying to be overprotective of everything in the car. As you increase power, you have to make adjustments elsewhere in the ECU not to negatively affect other areas of performance, yet, at the same time, you do not want to cancel the protective functions of certain sensors, etc... which could be the easy wait out, but certainly foolhardy.
Scott would make adjustments to the tune, send me the file to run, then I provide the feedback. If we run into limp mode or CEL problems, these would then need to be worked out. And sometimes in not very obvious places.
Now you factor into the equation the workload on Scott and his work in motorsports, etc... and you can imagine how time consuming this process is.
There was also a certain time lapse where work on the tune ground to a standstill due to lack of time. Then it resumed...
But the work continues. I received a brand new tune today from Scott that adjusts timing in areas he hasn't touched before. We will test the tune out hopefully this weekend, weather permitting, and continue to forge on.
In short, it has been a gradual learning curve, specially that engine safety has been of paramount importance throughout the process. Small incremental changes.
The tune evolved from version 1.00 to its current version 2.55.
The most recent one Scott sent, which I have yet to test this weekend, is version 2.60.

Per Scott's request, to help equip more 997.2TT after these great results, we have put up a special here - https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post3124324
