Thank you everyone for the props and support. All of the EVOMS crew who made this happen really appreciates it We learned a TON about the 997 platform during all of our trials and tribulations. Some of the **** we had to overcome was crazy. We now know more about this 997TT which helps with our street car product development and will help us move further towards our ultimate goal of 250+ MPH. We have the power to get there, we just need all of the other technical details to fall into place.

We are still driving back from Texas and internet connection is slow. As soon as we get back to AZ, I will get some videos and photos posted. Cheers!

now tell us what other technical part beside of the gear ?
cause i believe that the 5th and 6th gear are short to achieve such a number ?
did you solve the traction issue ?

 

Part of our PTM issue was due to us running 27.5" rear tires to get us our desired top speed. We solved that with the electronics this time. Next time we may look at making some gear changes -- or not We are going to install our long awaited solid lifter / camshaft conversion which will allow us to rev the engine to 9000 RPMS. At this engine speed, gearing will not be an issue to reach our top speed goal. More on that in a different thread.

What were the 60-130 and 100-150 mph times on that run?

 

all I can think of is "what if this car was on a diet?!" Dang that's fast for a full street weight car!

 

No kidding, consideing Bellos car is 1000lbs (give or take 100lbs) lighter and went 1.5 mph faster.

 

Holy unbelievable!! I'll be honest there wasn't a doubt in my mind that you wouldn't beat the old record it was how much will you beat it by and the plethora of events you had to overcome to do this.

Todd and crew are not only some of the most genius in the business but the most down to earth honest guys I've ever met.

The things they do with software alone and how they accomplish this blows my mind. I love watching the granularity of the tunning process. Being able to peak over Todd's shoulder and watch him tune then actually get to "drive the progress" so to speak is almost like a real life video game.

Keep up the good work guys!! Can't wait to see videos!

As for the wrap... the technical reason we wrapped it? We were sick of looking at the Silver, so when it came time to repaint, we figured... why not?
