997 GT2 RS Carbon Side Intake

Here is a close up off the RS vent. This one has matte wrap, you can see the difference in sheen at the seam near the bottom of the vent.

anyone have the part numbers for these?

Am I the only one around that thinks body colored vents look much better?

Nope!
I said it before , "there is nothing new under the sun".
When I had my 996T, everyone wanted the 997 "split" and now many want the 996 open.
I think it looks a lot cleaner stock with matching color.
BUT
Now that I have had the car for over 4yrs I am thinking how would a carbon hood and carbon GT2 Non splt or even split look on midnight blue.....
When I had the 996T I wanted to do a carbon hood for weight savings as you lose like 40lbs(!) and most likely I was going to paint it. In the 997 it is aluminum and weights nothing anyways. For me to justify the cost of a hood for the 997 it would be just for a different look and not worth it for me.
Possibly for a different look AND EXTRA PERFORMANCE in my 996 it might of been worh it, but for a "possible", change in looks with HUGE cost???

I'm thinking on a dark colored car it really won't show so much ,like on a light colored car ,i personally like them body colored ,people always ask me if i'm gonna do them to match my hood
