Anyone install the porsche paddle shifter wheel on a tip?

I am trying to find anyone who has successfully installed the new Porsche paddle shifter wheel on a tiptronic 911 turbo. I bought one from Suncoast but my Porsche mechanic could not get it to work. Any info will help.

I have talked to all of them (at Suncoast) and they have talked to their mechanic and all swear it can be done and is not a difficult install. But I have not heard of anyone who actually had it done on a 2007 tip. They have one on order for a 2007 for someone else and will be installing it in a week or two. In the mean time I have the new wheel installed and I am stuck in auto only.( stinks) I was hoping to find at least 1 person who had successfully had it done . It is hard to believe my Porsche tech cannot get it done. My tech also printed out the Porsche installation and conversion instructions for the wheel and under restrictions says ONLY for vehicles with PDK.
