STiR-Plus and Laser Jammer Install
Radar plus has a hand-held laser defuser checker for $50. I test my every once in a while. When you show the install, will you show how you placed the two cables from the front defuser heads to the area next to the battery. For me this was the toughest part. I have the N25 blinder which I guess has been outgunned by the unit you have. I suppose you brought a wire into the cabin rather than using the Cheetah remote??
I recently finished up the install of my STiR-Plus and Laser Interceptor system. I did some custom electronics work and have 4 LED's that flash now (two 3mm and two 5 mm) on alert. The install is very clean if I do say so myself. The STiR-Plus is a nice piece of kit. The LI system isn't so great in terms of build quality but I think it will do the job nicely.
During the process, I learned the hard way about a weakness on the Laser Interceptor unit. One of the pictures below is of an aluminum reinforcing housing for the sensors which were very easy to make. These will prevent the mounting tabs from breaking off during any future adjustments.
Here are a few pictures. I'll add more later. I took about 70 pictures of the process and will begin writing a how-to next week.
Cheers.

I'd like to place the control/display/alert components for radar/shifter in the center console shelf tray - just as you have shown, and I'd like to know who supported the fabrication work for center console shelf tray cover?
