exhaust 997 tt
I have the Europipe 2 (EP2) on my 997.1, I think this is the best sound for the engine as it is very different from the 997.2.
They are located in Belgium, the contact there is "Stef", he provides incredible service.

I recall reading a thread here on the 6 a few months back where it was acknowledged the greater majority (99%) of aftermarket exhausts actually shed power when the car is in stock ECU tune. EP was not one of those systems. In fact EP was the one system mentioned as actually being able to produce power that was able to be felt by ones butt dyno. As an EP owner I can vouch for that....whereas my previous AM system (a prominent brand) lost power at certain revs....that too I can vouch for
.
.
Never heard that one on a 997.1, when I first put the tubi on my old car many moons ago it made good gains on the dyno with and without the stock ecu tune.
I never dyno'd the EP, but I'm sure it made similar gains.
if the op wants to avoid drone, avoid any system w clamps.
clamps=drone

my sampling agrees, but what is the reason I wonder?
I would think a system of independent pieces would be less likely to 'sing' at any frequency than a single piece system.
Would weld tacking the pipes up in situ make any difference?
I might try wrapping with manifold heat tape to kill off some resonance.

Our system uses clamps, but does not drone. You can judge the sound by the videos - customers routinely call back to tell us how pleased they are with the system and that it sounds fantastic.
We use a very heavy duty stainless steel clamp with a stainless billet V-Band. The connection performs as if it were a solid pipe. I am not sure how the formed pipe ends with clamps on some other brands work, as we have never used that approach - it's less expensive and not as strong as a real stainless V-band with heavy duty clamp. There are also different levels of V-band clamps, some are lightweight and smaller - we use a large, strong, high quality clamp that positively secures the connection. I don't feel it is accurate to say all systems with clamps will drone more. This is simply not true.
A V-band system is more expensive to produce and it offers great options not available on a one piece system. The advantages are:
1) Cats can be swapped with straight pipes for track days, then returned to cats again whenever desired.
2) The muffler can be bypassed with muffler bypass pipes for track days, then returned to muffled again whenever desired
3) Cats can be replaced independently at any time or changed to a different cell count
4) Ease of installation - modular design makes for a very easy installation
Our experience with this system has been exactly the opposite of some of the experiences mentioned above in terms of clamps vs. drone...with our modular X-flow design, we have achieved no drone with a fantastic GT3 type sound, along with user flexibility not present in many other systems.

All systems, including stock, drone. Just a matter if degree. I have heard your system, and while very minimal, it does indeed drone. Of course drone is very subjective, but the least in an AM system us EP or early Tubi. The most recent "modular" tubi drones .
Another alternative is the Ruf system, but us cost prohibitive, and best as part of s conversion.

I've had FVD, Tubi Street and Im on GMG exhaust now. It's throatier, nice grunts and comes to live after 3500RPM. Let me know if you want to listen to it and I'll try to make a sound clip.
