I was driving on 405 north between 101 and wilshire, then i saw a camo'd boxster with a lady driving who gave me a wave lol. I proceeded to drive spirited throughout the traffic and could no longer see the boxster. Around 5 mins later I see her pass by followed by camo'd 991 with fake side vents. Guy gives me a thumbsup and he accelerates HARD(sounded amazing). Lots of traffic but he pulled so hard!!!! So once i saw him accelerating i decided to gun it as well, we messed around a bit for a minute through traffic and i guess i pushed it too hard because i ended up significantly ahead and no longer saw them lol(turbo power). We never really full-on raced, just messed around.

I wanted to video him but it all happened too quickly.

Except for the Beverly Hills soccer moms in their Cayenne's who think you're just trying to pick up on them. They just don't understand

I always give a wave to other Porsche drivers when I'm in the 997 and 95% of the time I get nothing in return. Not sure what "code" you refer to??

 

Love my Cayenne! It's 7 model years old and still outperforms 99% of the SUV's on the market.

 

Sigh, usually I see a Cayman, Boxster or Carrera driving like an assclown, weaving in and out of traffic with little regard for others.

I just think 'wow, sure wish I could do that.' Not.

and btw, cayenne turbo and up is a porsche. the rest - you're better off with a fully loaded touareg

 

I live in LA so i see porsches all the time.

if i was to wave to 97% of them they would think i am probably trying to hit on them or something lol.

But that 3% of enthusiasts give a thumbs up or wave.

I get lots of randoms giving thumbsup, and giving compliments.

Also get lots of random people who flick me off, flash high beams...but thats probably my fault
