Bilstein Coilovers ride height problem

Hi - Just installed Bilstein PSS10 coilovers front and rear onto 997.1 Turbo.
I wanted max 10mm drop in ride height, due to clearance issues. There are maximum thread adjustments given in Bilsteins install manual.
With the maximum adjustments my ride height is still 20mm lower than stock.
Wondering if anyone else had this and did they just wind the nut higher (beyond max specified) to get desired height.
Even Bilstein say that the suspension can be set up to -10mm and -5mm ride heights. ME CONFUSED?

I believe that even at the highest setting, Bilstein's already sit lower than stock. Then, you adjust from there. I purchased the Damptronic system for my Cayman S and had similar concerns prior to installing as I didn't want the car lowered that much.

I also think you need to consider how little of a drop -10mm is. I lowered my car about an inch all around, and I still have at least a finger gap from tire to fender. The difference between PASM and non-PASM equipped cars is -10mm, and the difference is barely noticeable to me.

Hope this helps.
