Conflicted
In the beginning I told my wife that "I came with the cars..."
That did it. She'd rather see me happy at whatever cost (within reason)
If your love for the car is fading, you either:
1) Ditch it
2) Modify it - It's like automobile viagra! Brings the spice back!

Thanks for all the input guys...wife is definitely staying as I love her almost as much as my cars lol (just kidding). I asked this exact question on the Audi forum and got the opposite responses as I expected. I am going to just make a decision and will post if anyone is interested.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
I gave her the sure cure. Five redline shifts on the way to being seriously over the century mark. She won't even get in the car anymore.
I also vote for getting rid of the wife...
Keep both and get rid of the wife!
Just kidding.
They are really different. The 997tt is more powerful, more readily tuneable than the R8.
I know of many folks who went to the R8, novelty wore off, went back to the tt.
Why not stick with the tt and upgrade that to the new 991tt when it comes out?

But on second thought, I guess it would be a small price to pay for the outcome you got!
