topspeedua is infamous around these parts
brakes red vs yellow

Hello. As far as I understand on 997.1tt the red brakes are steel and yellow are ceramic? is the disk size is the same? or rd are 350 and yellow are 380mm?
If I have red calipers this means I have 350mm disks?
Then If I want to change from 350 to 380 what I need? can I use my red calipers or I need to buy yellow calipers and 380mm disks? would it fit my car? is it worth to do upgrade?

Changing to PCCB's is a big ticket item - http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...=997TTCERAMICS

PCCB's are 380mm while the steel on the S models (red calipers) are 350mm.

Funny how the PCCB option on a TT costs $9700 yet the replacement is at a hefty $15,300. I am glad I got the ceramics...

Option is less since you get credit for the stock brake system - still a good value up front compared to changing later.
