No skand but i will check at home tonight and get back to you. I did the test today at the office parked outside under the awning. There was also some noise from passing traffic on the main road. At home i am in a fully enclosed garage so that will be ultimate test.

Sport mode changes several parameters that will influence the tone of the exhaust. If you have a 997TT with a LWFW, listen to the rattle when the engine is warmed up with and without sport mode. Huge difference.
I just tried this. It is a pretty big difference. I never realized how muich quieter the LWFW chatter is with sport mode on..

I have a cab and FVD exhaust and with the top down, I swear that when cruising at 40-50mph in 3rd or 4th (low rpm), when I turn sport on and off I can hear a difference! (I think).

Skand i checked it again in the closed garage and to be honest there is indeed a small difference to the ears but really nothing to get too excited about. It probably sounds more noticeable at WOT....but i cant be the driver and stand on the footpath at same time to check.

As others have reported too, it's quite noticable on my TT (EP2 installed) with the clutch depressed, sport turned on and rpm about 1500 to 1700 - very deep growl.

2011 tt [NOT an S model], turning on sport mode sitting still or moving makes a noticeable change in the exhaust note, stock exhaust.
