Cmon guys, we all spend time over here and even for a simple 20" wheel we reply.

This is "world record" for tiptronic tranny equipped 997 TTs.

Its amazing to see sub 5 s 60-130 runs and the tranny holds.

This is the beginning, better times will come, Emre / İbrahim Levent will keep on raising the bar. Those of us with tiptronics should keep an eye on this thread.

No other person / tuner came off with a better tranny upgrade and better times.

Just my 2 cents.
Why don't you tell us some specifics about the build, like what turbos are being used, post a dyno, boost used, internals, etc...It would be more interesting. Just flashing up a record time and beating one's chest only goes so far. Just say'n.

Agreed - I think you'd get more responses if the are mods are something we can execute (or dream about) with tuners in the States. More details would be helpful - What was done to the tip, etc.??

Great numbers indeed but I'd like to know if something similar would be possible with any tuners in the US.

Thanks!

Scott,

Old user name is Whiteknight. He is not a member anymore.

Modifications of the 997 TT tiptronic record holder:

3,8L engine upgrade inc new pistons, sleeves, rods, bearings, gaskets....

Cylinder head work carried by Emre / Ibrahim Levent, in house.

Balance, blueprint, assembly carried in house.

GTX3076 turbochargers

Turbocharger manifolds custo made by Emre/Ibrahim

Intercooler custom made, dont know size or specs of intercoolers

Exhaust system custom made in house, has an awesome sound, no drone, very sporty

Transmission upgrade is one of the most essential parts, this is a kit which Emre / Ibrahim put together after extensive R&D. Also used by Ebrahim Kanoo, Russian Unlimited 997TT, user Yusuf35, user Kercar....

Car has a GT2 body kit, and drives like STOCK. I took a ride in it, bloody car drives like stock till you nail the pedal.

Boost pressure is 1,8 bar = 26-27 psi

For those who want to dream of the kit, well its real. I am lucky to see the car in person, drove in it. The engine was put together very well, tolerances, material selection... turbo manifolds, software, transmission, intake pipes, exhaust... all match so that a 4,62 s 60-130 came out.

Best part of this 997TT is the consistency of the 60-130 times. 9 out of 10 runs are within 0,1 seconds of eachother. This means anytime you floor the pedal you are happy / fast.

A better dream is there is still room for improvement:

A- cooler air

B- more boost

This 997 tiptronic has a straight 4.00 s 60-130 mph in it.

A customer of this shop has a 4,97 s 60-130, user name Besiktas. GT3076 turos
Another customer of this shop has a 5,5 s 60-130 user name Kercar. VTG 68 mm turbos.
Both of these two are tiptronic.

To add a note, I have no affiliation with these people, no connection other than watching what they do for 997TTs. I do work on my BMW M3 TTs, and bring my 997 TT for regular maintanence to this shop. Will get a GTX30 turbo kit & engine upgrade for my 997 TT soon.

ArSe77aL is infamous around these parts
Any further details on the tiptronic upgrade like how much it costs and what the revised rev limit is?

Just curious also, what is this car running 0-200, 0-300 or its quarter mile trap speeds?

Do you know if the car is running a stand alone ecu or are they still using the stock one? Also is the tcu still being used as well?

Yousef seems that we share the same exhaust, you will love it more as the internals of the muffler brake-in...mine is 1 year old, the older it gets the sexier it sounds.
