Turbo S chances with LP560 and GTR ?

Just as I thought. I stopped believing in magazines long ago. I ran a Turbo S and I was shocked at how fast it was....had to use a little race gas to put it in its place. I spanked an LP 560 pretty hard w/ out really trying. Granted, the driver of the Lambo was not very skilled, but the thing about the PDK is you don't really need much skill at all.

Pretty much agree with everybody here (in regards to the GT-R). The Turbo S should win. It comes down to reaction time (if not racing ET). All three cars are relatively equal. Even on a drag strip, it could come down to track prep, lane choice, etc... All things being equal, I'd say Turbo S (up until certain speeds, then I'd bet on the Lambo).

Waitaminute....I just did some fact checking (asked my wife....she remembers everything about Lambos, even the guy who drive it, lol) and it was a 2007 Gallardo that I ran.
However that car only has around 35 hp less than the lp-560, and my car did not have the full blow through system and 3 inch exhaust, so I think I would do equally as well today.

I think the C and D numbers were with a professional driver who probably has very fast shifting.
My friend w/ the new turbo/pdk says he gets his fastest times by putting the car in auto mode.

yep the turbo S has only 8500KM and stock the gtr and LP owners were very suprised how turbo s is so fast 
the gtr owner told me he raced turbo s and gt2 he thinks that the turbo S is faster then the GT2

And I'd agree with him. The PDK removes shifting as a problem. All that is needed is decent prep, and an anvil to hold the gas pedal down (potentially, you don't need feet or fingers to switch gears - maybe all you need is a string keeping the steering wheel straight for 10 secs - maybe the driver isn't required???).

you lost to a stock turbo s pdk with your GT2 with 30's on pump gas?!
