My y pipe is the stock one.

 

Reviving this old thread....

I've had the stock Y-pipe popping off of the stock throttle body hose under boost. Ive take the Y-pipe off a couple times to get to the belt.

To keep the hose on I've tried the hair spray suggestion as well as the MAF cleaner suggestion. I couldn't find the referred to silicon hose solution. Any new solutions for dealing with this hose pop off? Thanks

 

1- Make sure the lip on the pipe fits perfectly in the groove on the y-pipe
2- make sure the clamp is inplace directly above the lip in 1
3- make sure its tight as ****
4- make sure the "ladders" of the clamp are not worn/broken
....
If all fails remove the stock clamps, replace with t-bolts, those wont come off ...
