997TT with 996TT Wheels?

I know what you're thinking... Why would anyone want to do that!

My thoughts exactly. So what is this dealer thinking

I'm wondering if the car has a story or if somebody actually wanted to do this...

I'm thinking the dealer has a good friend with a 996, who was looking for a cheap upgrade to 997 wheels...

I knew which car you were talking about before I ever clicked the link since it pops up on my searches. The details state: "Premium Wheels 19+". It's even a Porsche dealership.

I doubt a dealer would be that stupid to do such a swap. He would know how particular a 911 Turbo buyer is. They look terrible. Wrong offset and don't fill the fender wheels.

Are the OEM turbo twists even available in 19"? Maybe the dealership didn't notice .

tkuwaha is infamous around these parts
Not that it matters, but those are not 996TT turbo twists. They look more like Cup 3 replicas.
