Looking at an 07 Turbo with softronics 600+ tune, intake and exhaust work. Carfax showed failed emissuions than a passed emission a few days later. Do you have to remove tune for emission testing??

Bigger question.. should I be concerned about an 07 with a tune. car has 20K miles

 

Rear o2 sensors probably turned off in flash which could cause you to fail. Owner flashes back to stock or asks tuner to turn on rear o2s with modded flash and your golden for the test.

I would guess but not 100% sure that a flash and good exhaust should pass emissions test so long as you have the o2's all turned on. The post cat ones commonly get turned off as most exhausts will trigger a post cat CEL sooner or later.

 

i would guess that it had to be reflashed to pass emissions...i have had that issue w/ tuned vehicles as well

A good tune should pass emissions . I would steer clear of any flash with O2 sensors disabled, what else is turned off?? At 20k a tuned TT I'd ready for plugs- not cheap!
As a general rule I would try to find a stock car.
