On my 996tt I just put the Girodisc slotted 2pc rotors on all 4 corners in a 350 size. I will test them out in a few weeks at the first DE I will attend since the install. I am running oem pads for now bc I got tired of all the noisy brake pads.

Prior to the event I will be putting Pagid Yellow up front and Black on rear in the stock 996tt caliper sizes. Prior the the rotor replacement I ran the above race pads on stock rotors and found the combo to work very well so I am thinking it will be same if not a bit better due to the slightly larger rotor.

Since yours is a road car mostly, I would go with a pad that does not squeal like a pig so much. Not sure which one that one would be but perhaps others can input?

My buddy has a 997.1 with the Brembo Big Brake Kit and it stops well and looks cool but he is limited to wheels he can run due to size of set up. I have had the oem ceramics on an 05 Turbo S cab and now a 12 Turbo S coupe and WOW! is all I can say.

I don't know if it is because they are new 1600ish miles or what but they have a ton of stopping pwr. I know they are expensive and have a reputation for being high maint esp if you will do alot of tracking. Having had them before and being used stopping a 3400-3500lb car with stock brakes where the car feels like what it weighs in comparison to with the pccb's where the same weight car feels like it's a 2k lb car.

Good Luck!
