997.1 Turbo vs. 997.1 C42 Suspension

Hi guys, i'm a regular on the 997 NA forum but I have a simple question about Turbos, so figured I'd post here.

I'm considering suspension mods on my 07 T4S. Is my suspension identical to the .1TT? (I think so but want to confirm before making an expensive mistake).

I ask because there's a wealth of knowledge from you AWD TT boys that would be very useful in my decision-making.

Thx v much in advance

I assume you meant C4S, not "C42" or "T4S"? The manual for my Turbo's B16 Damptronic says it is for both 911 Turbo and 911 C4.

That said, the only way to be sure is to call a knowledgeable Bilstein dealer. In your area, I would recommend AWE Tuning http://www.awe-tuning.com/. They are a forum sponsor, and a very reputable and knowledgeable Porsche tuner. Just so happens I believe they have the best price around and know a thing or two about installing too.

Make sure you only buy from a Bilstein dealer as you won't get the lifetime warranty otherwise.

Thanks for the response Cannga.
Sorry I botched the subject line! T4S = Targa 4S (see my signature) which is almost same suspension as C4S (I know it has softer springs to account for the heavier roof).
Anyway that is good advice. I will make some calls.
