Checking to see if anyone has this system installed on their 997.2 Turbo? My 2012 Turbo just finished production and I know I'll want a more aggressive sound as I understand that the .2 Turbo versions are quieter still than the .1 versions that I've also owned. I had a SHARKSWERK X-pipe muffler bypass system on my 2011 GT3 and loved it. Ideally I'd like to hear the FABSPEED X-PIPE before buying it...anyone local to me in the Northern Virginia/Maryland area? Thanks!

 

Please let me know what you've decided, I'm in the market as well. Have you looked into offerings by GMG?

 

I had not looked at GMG but just did, but if I recall the FABSPEED price correctly, the GMG x-pipe is another $2K...hard to imagine justifying that price difference for an x-pipe.

 

Hey guys, the Supersport X Pipe exhaust sounds superb. Its aggressive and sporty but still driveable, so its not over the top. He will be able to hear the turbo's whistling when you get off the throttle, which sounds great. And the system will also make a nice HP and TQ increase which is always a nice thing. Thanks split, the system does use resonators in it, so it sounds aggressive but not too loud. The video was taken before we finished the final design. Here is a link to it.

I installed one of these on a customers car, it sounds INSANE!!!!!

I have the v3 on my car and this one just sounds so much better. Get it, you will be very very happy.

 

i put my car away for winter before deciding but i am still leaning to just the X-pipe of theirs. i find i like the really quiet side of the turbo at times so i think just going to the X is a good compromise.

the quicker spooling of the cat pack though is enticing. still have to confirm that Ontario pollution laws not effected.

i don't hall it out until april - so time to nail it down.
