The Porsche LC is bullet proof. If it detects certain parameters out of range (e.g., clutch temp), it won't let you use it.

Try the launch control, but make sure that there is nothing in front of you for a long ways out and the road is straight! I think it is truly amazing how this thing takes off from standing still.
