Tpms

Do tpms have to be programmed at dealer if a different set is installed in aftermarket wheels rather than the set of tpms from your stock wheels?

Tpms

I dont believe so. I think if you have them installed and drive a few miles they will "connect". You will have to enter whether the tires and winter or summer.

Agreed - I've bought a few sets of winter wheel/tire combinations from Tire Rack with the sensors already installed and tires mounted. I took them to my tire dealer who installed on the cars. No problem with car recognizing the sensors.

malignancy is infamous around these parts
Hey guys, I've been reading threads over 90 mins and I'm no better off answering this question:
Which TPMS frequency does my car require (997.1 Turbo)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
