How do you like the new 991? My wife and kids were not too excited about it and like our TTS much better. I do like the new DRLs and instruments but not so much the Cayenne/Panermera like interior.
Hi llngoc, yes, that was me! It was a cool event, but yeah, I'm not too excited about the 991 either. The deal breaker for me is still the interior, particularly the doors and console. I sat in the car, and I just can't get used to it. It doesn't feel like a $100k+ sports car anymore. That said, the new exterior with the DRLs and thin taillights really works in person, and the LED lighting on the interior and new gauge cluster are pretty cool. I also like that the leather behind the center console goes all the way to the back seats. I think that beats the lots-of-carpet look in the 997.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but when I was under the car with Alex et. al from Sharkwerks we noticed that the O2 sensor is now INSIDE the cats! Crazy.

llngoc is infamous around these parts
Same here as I said, we really like the exterior lights but nothing else much. BTW, not sure you may have noticed; but my son and I were circling your car a little. Mine was self-parked at the farther side of the lot.

The presentation part of the event was a bit long and the audio was aweful. But the GT3 RS 4.0 parked in the front was a real sweet car.

I wish I had seen you, I would have come out and opened it for a better look! Is yours the Black Turbo S? I saw it on the way in, very sharp.

Cheers,
