Wheel Question

Does anyone have a cheap set of temporary rims for sale or rent in SoCA? I am thinking of getting my HRE P40s refinished from matte black to satin silver and don't want to leave my car on jack stands for the 2-3 weeks it takes for the refinishing work to be done. If not, any other suggestions would be appreciated (such as it's ok to leave car on jack stands!) Thanks

Any pics of the matte black against your car? Always thought this was a great color so curious how it looks, and reason for the change.

Pics

The first one is my ride with the matte rims. The second one is from HRE. I'm not 100% sure I want to change but I do like the silver/white combo, plus it would give me something to do when I wash the car since the matte rims always look the same. Do Porsche's generate a lot of break dust? My prior weekend driver, an E46 M3, got dirty wheels just driving around the block. Which ones do you like?

Both look really good - tough choice actually. But I'd have to give the slight nod to the silver.
Maybe depends on your preference? Classic vs. more modern/trendy?

It is a tough choice, I really like black wheels and accents with the light colors like white and silver. If it were me I'd keep the wheels blk.

the black wheels against the white turbo look great. And to the earlier question, yes these cars do get brake dust very quickly, so added bonus that it doesn't show on the matte. Wish I had your wheels!
