How could you live with ....

...the stock 480 power, definately not enough for me ... For some reason it feels like, the first three gears seems to run out of breath very quickly .. Could this have anything to do with taking a ride in a friends 09 ZO6.. The torque that car has down low is un-believable

Now i am not saying i want that torque in my car but i definately want my TT to rev more freely to red line...

On a side note, i can't forget the power my 98 E36 M3 sedan ( Turbo charged by Active Autowerke Stage 2) made was incredible The car weighed around 3200 lbs and made 390 RWHP/410RWTQ but boy, it always put smile on my face..

Some how i feel, my TT is not breathing enough air up top so running out of steam ?

Would a tune fix this issue ?

Thanks

Well in stock form it's still quick but its does not give you the brutal torque beating like you buddies ZO6. To answer your question on the tune YES YES AND YES

And you run out of rpms quickly too - amazing how fast you get to 6800 in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

I have to agree with you somewhat with this. I used to have an SL 65 and that car put down 740 lbs of torque ! Put your friends Z06 to shame . But I agree with you, since coming to a stock 07 TT, I definately miss that low end torque. But...the TT is a precision instrument, the AWD, low weight and huge tires really make use of that "measly" 480 hp and 505 trq
