Y-pipe
What do you call "speed density" Nick?
Yes all those "périphéric" parts are expensive, and the deepest you go, the more expensive it is and the smaller the gain is...
VID997 I think your car will run better, of course, but sure too you won't know exactly why...
The perfs of my engines interest me, but I have to say "understanding why" and the improvement give me the same pleasure.

Antonis, what plenum do you run? (I know you run IPD Y-pipe)

Currently I am very pleased with the performance/speed of my car. I primarily use it car for track work (road course/ third & fourth gear pulls). So my goals are to try increase throttle response and reduce lag. As they say, "There is a 100 ways to skin a cat."
I guess in reality, it all comes down to time & money...

...or to put this way: Reducing time depletes you of your money
Hmmm....So I literally received a Werks1 Plenum, 82mm GT3 TB, Werks1 Y-Pipe, and a BMC Filter, yesterday. Planning the install hopefully very soon. However, I will be getting a new ECU tune and a few other goodies installed at the same time, so I won't be able to make a clear-cut base to formulate performance gains from just adding IPD/TB/Y-PIPE/BMC.
All this confuses me...
...however I am very interested in what your findings will be.

Y-pipe arrived from Arkansas today!
Very nice work, Todd told me he did it for my specs because usually he bolt it with non-VTG engines with different hoses.
I ordered it black powder coated; the part is very light and sure not restrictive, it is far bigger than stock.
I can't wait for the end of the snow to go to the dyno to bolt and test it!
