Very new to 6-130 testing. With 63.5 VTG's how beneficial is the small stuff to get the 997TT into the 5's?

Like Y-Pipe, Plenum, Throttle body, etc?

Are these parts major restrictions that would yield .2 points or so off the time?

Sub 6 is Hauling! Congrats! How does a 6 sec 60-130 stack up against bolt-on GTR's

Save your money we tested all that stuff on a vgt car . We started with a stock car and did one bolt on at a time . Doing 60 to 130s and dynoing after every change so we know what works and what dont . Its very intresting what lil mods these cars need to make power.

A P800 Switzer car (full bolt on w mod stock turbos/stock engine/stock trans) ran a 6.00 on 93 pump gas

Thats the closest verified run that i know of. On E85 or race gas is should be wll into the 5s

i heard of a 5.98 on pump with the same kit

There is a claim of a 4.98 from a Alpha 9 car on race gas (similar setup as well) but not verified

60-130 thing is not everything when highway pulling..There is hundred of vids for bolt ons GTR's vs Bolt ons 997 Turbo beating each other and got different results.

60-130 depends on many factors such as
driver skills
quantity of fuel tank
weather temp
elevation/altitude
slope surface decline/incline
Rims size and weight
1 shift vs 2 shift
Second passenger

Even the %3 max slope...%1 vs %2.9 that's huge differance!

I wish Mike Baily chime in here

You are correct . We try everything we can think of . It's amazing how much time you can gain or loose with small changes .

I havent verified a run yet with MBailey. But given the same road. I ran .4 faster going from a dead stop to 137 than going from 30mph in 3rd and acceleration.
