late apex it then. Im still baffled. The M3 had rear ends that torn out because of stress. Every one knew it was a slow in pour on the gas just after mid corner. But I bet you are faster in the corner in the turbo than the M3. I know I was I was taking corners much faster in the turbo because I could. Its a point and shoot car.

The M3 is the touring/track car that kids fall in love with because they read numbers on it and think its grand. from E30's to e92 M3's the only one that was a true track car was the e30 the rest are track feel on the road which is fun..... unless there is a gnat crossing in front of you then the drive becomes a chore.

Thats fine though, if you like every negative of the road transferred into your experience that is the way to go.

To the OP, dude if you think a 911 is going to leave you wishing you had an m5 or m3 back..............

Again, I said my turbo would trounce my M3. How about this. Forget I mentioned the M3.

I, like many others, felt the need to modify their 997.1 suspensions... Apparently Porsche felt the same as they made adjustments for the 997.2.

no need to get mad. Im just saying it could have been something different. Maybe I just don't like the trammel as my mroadster has sat for years back home. No offense meant. I just think people upgrade suspension when they dont need too. They dont understand the extra wear etc they are putting on their tires they dont know if they are effecting the camber or what they just slap it on and it feels stiff so it must be good right? Many times a tire change will solve that.

Point is people act like a 911TT feels like camry or a Dodge sprint van.

Not sure where you got that impression...I'm not giving up the M5 or the M coupe, so I sure won't miss them. My inquiry was aimed at understanding differences in suspension/handling between the 997.1 and 997.2.
