State farm! They have a lot of discounts. I'm 23 have my 997tt, BMW 3series, life insurance policy, home owners with them and pay 2400$ a year. 500 deduct too.

Useless to quote what people pay without knowing what the coverage limits are. Also, I cannot understand why owners of TTS's are getting policies with $500 deductibles. You could have a bunch of extra cash in your Calvins if you raised the deductible to say $1500. You couldn't have ANY accident with one of these for under $500. The insurance companies know that.
As an aside. 42yo. No accidents or points ever. 250/500/250 limits. 1K ded. I pay 375/6mo. 2012 TTS.

+1 on the deductible. There's no such thing as a cheap accident in a TTS. $2k deductible here.

Some lenders will not allow deductable over 1k.

Thank you for the heads up on the deductible. That's so obvious and it totally slipped my mind. Of course the insurance company doesn't mention that when setting up your policy. I just called and it saved me a little more than 10% total (switching from $500 to $1500). I'm going to take DD which they said would lower my payment another 10%. I don't know if it's all companies, but Geico looks at accident history over the last 5 years. Unfortunately, I put an m5 into a telephone pole 4 1/2 years ago. So in 6 months, I will be considered to have a fully 'clean record' and I should see a healthy decrease. Thanks again.

I'm younger and in a 996TT. I got the best price from Progressive (Geico was 2nd place) for insurance in Portland, OR. I had switched from Allstate where I was not in good hands.

46 Y/O, Married, insured under 5K as 2nd car. 1K Deductible 300/500 $ 2400 year with Geico.Originally quoted 1100/year but upon renewal the insurance police determined that the car was more expensive to repair that originally rated.

I have 4, soon to be 5 cars with them and I need to do some shopping.Only benefit of Geico is their mechanical breakdown insurance with is cheap and has saved me alot of $$$ on repair costs. That has really kept me with them.

I also have the mechanical breakdown on my Geico policy. How does it save you money on a vehicle under warranty? I have been trying to figure this out.
Also, for those of you that have personal liability unbrellas, I suggest only taking coverage limits which are specified by the umbrella writer. Otherwise, more premium is wasted, because the umbrella will pick up where the auto policy left off.
