Valentine V1 Install Location

What are the creative spots to install the V1 out of the way so I don't have a detector hanging off my front window? Does anyone have any examples of where to install it out of sight?

I've seen those mirrors but my question was actually - Can the actual V1 unit itself be concealed so its not hanging in the front windshield and not noticeable from the inside passengers or outside viewers. As that site suggests - inside the headliner or headrest. Essentially I don't want to see the V1 at all. Hanging from the rear view mirror isn't an option for me. IMHO I think it looks worse hanging off the mirror than tucked above it against the windshield. However both I hope aren't the only options. I do like the concealed display inside the mirror but want to hide the main unit.

Looking to see if anyone has been successful in hiding the entire setup.

This link shows the 'custom stealth enclosure' option they have available.

I'm seriously considering this entire setup.....

I have the sports chrono package and don't know how the Custom Stealth Enclosure for the V1 Radar would sit on the dash with the air vents in the way. Would love to see pics of someone who has done this.

I see they say it is commonly installed on the rear deck or headliner but would still like to see if anyone here has done it.

The problem with the Valentine is that the more stealth you make the install, the more delay in picking up radar as it bounces around the signal. The headliner just behind the sunroof seems to be the best look vs. functionality. The Passports have some pretty sweet stealth mount setups, but would not helping if you already have the V1.

I ordered the custom stealth enclosure. I have an idea about mounting on a small box the size of its footprint on the rear deck. The box will be high enough to clear the back seats, dash and rear window. Ill cover the box in the same material as the rear deck is covered in. Ill post pics once complete.

+1 I have a Laser Interceptor with (I think) one of the Escort radar detectors, fully hidden install.

I had ordered all of the parts but never got to installing. The car is going in for a radio update in a month. I will work with the installer at that time to sort out details. I will update when I have more.
