Pedal sensor

Need some help locating another location to tap into the pedal sensor wire. I am installing a valvetronic exhaust and it requires that I tap into the green/yellow stripe wire under the gas pedal. I was hoping that I can find a better location such as the ECU. Is there another location for this wire?

I think the ECU is under the passenger side rear deck cover.

I remember seeing the ECU under the back deck when I was installing my springs. Just wasn't sure if the pedal sensor goes to the ECU. Just didn't want to take apart the back lid if that wasn't the case.
