I just watched the vid
The 458 didn't sound loud enough
I wonder if he was in race mode?
He also shifted a bit early
Both amazing and fast cars.
I'd keep the 458 any day over the big beetle

reading from the beginning of this thread I was thinking No way the 458 would even be close. I really didnt think those cars where all that fast. Apparently they are much faster than I thought.

why your time 60-130 8.7sec ????
we have many softronic cars here which moded with catless exhaust and bmc filter running 7.5-8.1 sec !!!
this is run 100-200km from tip 997tt with softronic tune , bmc filter , exhaust system 2 passngers inside the car
if possible chick your plugs and do presure test ..

Okay after viewing this thread and owning 458 i had to call my friend out in his 997.1 6speed and we just finished video and the results were much different . we rolled to about 10mph up to 130-140 .
458 is stock and on after market wheels
997TT is proto ecu , full headers exhaust, 997.2 inter coolers and few more mods i cant remember also on after market wheels
video is getting loaded as i type and will post asap . we did 2 runs and very identical
