Funny how they kept that same very upright and connected feel that the 80s Carreras had. Granted it's a tad muted, but in a civil and welcome way. Def too quiet for my taste but nothing the aftermarket can't fix.
The car still smelled of rich leather, which immediately puts it into a different class from the Z.
Car is as advertised. Clean, probably had the front bumper painted. No curb rash, some slight scuffs on the door sill, and steering wheel.

Power was fairly solid, but nothing earth shattering. On par with my Meth JB4 135i. Considering 88 degrees and AC blasting, it's a solid performer out of the box! Also something the aftermarket can remedy. Coming from the Z06, it did feel short legged. But having the low end thrust is preferable to my driving style.

Overall, great car. Need it like Oxygen! Going to run some numbers and try to make it work.

Hope to have a different natured post in a couple of days.
I should have mentioned I have a Z06 currently as well (c5 though) and I love my Turbo on the street and my Z06 on the track. That said, if you do not like the sound of the Turbo do not think you can fix it. You can make the same sound louder but you can't really change it into the throaty growl you are used to with the Vette. It's not possible due to the Turbos. Ask me how many exhausts I have purchased to try to fix this.

Due to Mileage ? And why do you think it was repainted ?
Normal on a car with mileage but would ask questions on a low mileage car.

I had the car on the lift and brought my handy LED flashlight and noticed that pretty much the entire passenger side had been painted including the front. In addition, it looks like the prior owner had a rear valance, that the shop removed with a rusty machete, cause the entire rear bumper has scratches all across the bottom. Also looks like the front wheel had an impact which forced a spoke up against the brake caliper! Running the carfax, and having a dealer buddy run the vin to get more info. But I'm pretty much 95% ready to walk away. lol

They aren't low production vehicles. Walk away and find the right one.

That's right. Just sucks that it was all the options I wanted and in my back yard so to speak.

Every single time I think about selling my Z06 or my 997TT I just take a drive and it changes my mind.
