Who has done it? 11.8's were achieved with the 996 + X50 package.
What kinda 60 would you have to cut for a 11.4 on a 119 mph? Have to be in the 1.3x range.Originally Posted by onurleft

How many miles did you have on your car when you ran it?Originally Posted by tpduke112
There is no way those are the fastest times stock...I am not a great driver and I have trapped 121 in mine and ran an 11.8@119 on a day where it was 100 degrees and 95 degrees when I ran and the DA was 3000.
My car had 31k miles when I ran it. This was 3 years ago at Etown, nj. Got 2 passes in that night. First one was with a 1.8 60' and a 11.7 ET Those slips are probably history by now, ill see what i can dig up.
11.4 should be possible. Those where my first 2 pass's ever, Im now in the high 1.4-1.5 range and plenty of low-Mid 10 sec slips with Hybrids and Reliable too!
These are not drag cars, but if you are trying to break records, swap the slave cylinder for a GT2 one this will make lanches consistant and save the clutch.
Good Luck!

I am aware and I am no drag racer. This weekend was the first time I took this car to the track and will be the last for a while. After running, I just got curious to know what the fastest stock real world time was for a Turbo 6 speed and got annoyed when I couldn't find any good info. I am surprised there isn't more info here.Originally Posted by BaldBag

From reading the Car & Driver article, it states that the 6 speed 911 Turbo was faster 0-60 than the GT-R, and in the quarter mile. And this is in spite of the GT-R's dual clutch gearbox and launch control? Looks like a pretty solid performance from the 911.

Im sure I will be there Lonnie! I just want to wait until it cools off a bit to run again. "A while" is a relative term.Originally Posted by ATL97gts

I think this may have a lot to do with it. These cars get stronger with miles...if you run a 997.1 turbo with say 2,000 or 3,000 miles...against one that has 40,000 miles...the difference will be noticeable.Originally Posted by tpduke112
