First service

I have had my car for a year and have racked you a whopping 1,300 miles. I need to make it a point to get more seat to e this next year.

I am planning my first service which will be oil, top off fluids and check tire pressures. What would you expect it to run? I was told I could wait about an hour and a half or take a loaner car.

Thanks.

If a few more of you would not mind chiming in I would appreciate it only becasue I was quoted a number and want to see have it compares.

The Labor Rate at the Dealer is $ 159/hr Oil change is billed out at 1.5 hours, plus 10 quarts of full synthetic and filter and crush ring and tax lands me at $ 405.00! This car is my first jump into super car company. And a big jump form my Infiniti's, Acura's and M-3 BMW's so I was a little shocked. Please don't flame me a cheap, just surprised. I believe I have a dealer who is a cut above, my sales and service guy is certianly a cut above, but in line their price is also a cut above.

Curious what other are paying in NY Long Island Area?

First of all hey moderators we're seeing more and more spam daily on the forum please help.

Back on topic 400 seems very steep I would get a few quotes from other dealers and then make a decision. I too have a preferred pricey dealer but when I tell them the Porsche dealer down the stree is giving me a price of xxx they'll match or even beat it

I will do that, thanks, I just wanted to see if I was in fact out of line with the norm. Does the labor rate of 159/hr seem right and the 1.5 hr per oil change. Becasue the labor cost is almost as much as you whole oil change even before the 10qts Mobile 1 Full Synthrtic oil, Porsche filter and hardware (Gasket and crush ring), top off all fluids and a can of brake clean to clean the oil pan after they drain it.

thanks,

Jeff
