^^^ Agreed. 33/39 hot is the official recommendation; in California this means around 31/37 cold.
IMHO, better yet, follows the differential reading in the Turbo - this automatically adjusts to temperature, and should read around 0, with some small variation around 0 per your taste.
If anyone has to run your tires much higher than 33/39 to make the car feels "right", it's possible "your body" is telling you that the car's suspension is too soft and you are (over)-stiffening the tires to compensate for the softness in the coilover/springs/etc. Might be time to consider stiffer springs or coilover. Just MHO of course, YMMV.
