Champion. Primarily because they are so close to you to resolve any issues.
I have Bilstein Damptronics installed and balanced by them, and has been flawless since day one (on the road, and the track). Ask for Shiraaz Shookrali (mobile 954-770-9069) he will take care of you !
"OK I will mos def look into it... I am in miami they are in pompano it's about 50 miles away so it's a 2 car 2 man job to get there etc... waste a whole day... where has my dealership in miami the collection deals with evo directly and its 3 blocks away..."
They have a Hertz representative at the dealership at all times, so you can drop off your car, and drive rental home while its being serviced (heavily discounted rental rate).

i vote for 911 Tuning based on customer service for power mods!
champion seem to have the (Champion Package) down.. by that i mean they can take care of your tuning and wheel/suspension needs! I Particulary like their wheels and colaboration with Werks1
I like to take the a la carte so to speak option when it comes to modding cars though

First of all, I think people are confusing EVO with EVOMS. EVO is a tuning shop in Miami, not to be confused with EVOMS in Arizona. So if you guys are making your choices of Champion based on proximity, EVO is actually closer to the OP. That being said, I personally would go with Champion because they'll be willing to warranty their work. Porsche dealers/service managers, are known for refusing warranty work even on known problems based on aftermarket work performed to the vehicle. If you use Champion, you'll be getting work performed by a shop that has one of Porsche's most celebrated race teams. Both are reputable shops and have a lot of experience working on Porsches. But a bad year or unforeseen circumstances could put a small company like EVO out of Business. One of Porsche's largest dealerships worldwide has very little chance of going out of business. If it were me, these are the types of things I think about.
-What is the reputation of the company performing the mods
-Will the company stand by their work
-Does the company have a lot of experience in this type of build
-Will the company be around to perform maint/repairs for years down the road
-Am I just a number to this company or will they give me the personal service I deserve
-How will the work being performed to my vehicle affect my warranty
-How will the work being performed to my vehicle affect resale value
I'm sure there's other questions people may add. But I think these are all legitimate questions that may help you answer which is best for you. Both are reputable, but based on the answers to the questions above, I'd chose Champion. That being said, you being a local, I'm sure EVO would give you that good personal service and work with you during the build as you probably mean more to them as a customer than you would to Champion. It's not to say that Champion doesn't appreciate their customers, I'm just sure they do much higher volume than EVO does. But if you have something go wrong with your transmission, you can bet the dealer will blame the mod work by EVO as the cause to a faulty transmission at the first chance they get in order to deny that claim. Champion on the other hand, I'm sure would take care of you immediately if it's really a defect in the transmission. That's the trade off. Good luck and let us know what you decide!

I suppose I am biased since we work with Champion, but we are also fortunate to see many different hardware setups roll through our facilities. I can assure you that Champion's quality is second to none. Additionally, their hardware options leave you with enough headroom for any power level you desire.
If they are a bit of a drive for you, I would at least make the trip to see their facilities. I'm sure they will have more than one project to leave you dreaming about for months.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!
alexo...please feel free to give me a call any time. Or better yet, stop by our shop for a tour! I'd be happy to show you everything we have to offer and why I think we're the best choice for you. After your visit, if you decide to go with another tuner...that's OK, but since you're so close, I think you should come take a look around our shop first hand.

I'm not pointing this out as a reason not to go with Champion. This was the past, just saying it can happen. I think this was the Porsche dealership, not the Motorsports division although they are obviously joined at the hip.
Great article in the new Excellence Magazine about their new project. Shows what they can do, especially when $$$$ do not matter.
That being said, I would go with Champion due to the fact they use GIAC. I had GIAC on my '08 Turbo. It was great. I have the EVOMs (not EVO) on my Cayenne Turbo because GIAC was not available at the time. I've driven a Cayenne Turbo with the GIAC and IMHO it has a little smoother delivery of power. EVOMS very good but GIAC better.
This comes up when it comes time to bash champion.
I think "champion Motorsport" is a profitable company to close its doors. If it where to happen so be it. They are only handing the hardware side of things. That could easily be repaired by a third party if neccasary

I am not in anyway insinuating that they are in trouble. I was just replying to SCOTTKELLY911s comment. If I were doing any type of mods and was in their geographic area there is no doubt who I would go to.... Champion Motorsports. Read the article in Excellence about their RSR project.
It can happen!!!

But yeah, not saying it can't happen, just that it's unlikely. Heck if anything, they showed they could withstand bad economic times, file for Chapter 11 in '09, restructure and survive and prosper. That's the sign of a strong company. A smaller company might not have been able to survive such a situation. That being said, I'm not an economics genius and maybe a smaller company wouldn't have been able to leverage itself to be able to get into that kind of trouble. But they survived turbulent times and have since recovered nicely without losing any of their Porsche dealership or motorsports divisions and continue to put out some of the nicest cars, mods, and wheels on the market. I think we definitely agree on that

Ugh....this 4 year old nonsense always comes up when there's a reason to put us down. First off, Chapter 11 does not mean you're going out of business...it's a restructuring, which was what needed to happen at the time we were selling our Audi franchise.
Currently Champion Porsche is the largest Porsche dealership IN THE WORLD, with more vehicles sold month after month then ANY OTHER PORSCHE DEALER WORLDWIDE for several consecutive years now. Early in 2013 we'll physically be expanding our dealership's size to add another whole 2-story showroom and customer lounge. We, at Motorsport, still operate out of our own independent 25,000 sq/ft state of the art facility. You will NOT find another tuner out there with a shop that has capabilities even remotely close to ours!
As I've said before 1000 times, anyone who doubts our abilities or our products is welcome to stop by ANY TIME for a tour. We're here for the long haul...trust me, you'll see.
