The seller's statement "Ready to install. 2007 Porsche 997 Twin Turbo Stock Clutch KIT disc plate OEM with 1350 miles.

Years ago. I pulled this clutch a few days after buying my turbo with only 1500 miles."

Doesn't make sense to me. See if you can do a conditional sale. That is he sends it to your mechanic for a check and if it passes the check then you pay (maybe 50% up front, 50% after the check).

I am personally weary of buying certain items used, and the clutch on a 997 is one of them given the labor price to change one of them!

512bb is spot on. Given the time and Labor to install this it may not be worth it. Whats a new clutch from Suncoast, $1000?

Never heard of selling or buying a used clutch... I would certainly be careful if that is route you decide to go.

For reference we have brand new Porsche OEM clutch kits on our website for $999.95:

Let me know if we can help you out.

Funny - I was just scanning ebay to see what diff parts are online there. I came across that clutch and was wondering - is this a bad buy? Glad to see that a new clutch is only 1k.

I changed my clutch early to go with a Sachs 2.5 because I knew that I'd eat up my stock one with future mods. It is in great condition.
