Is there a good product to use for detailing the lower unpainted portions on the 997 turbo? I've seen a product before called something like Back to Black, but not sure how that would work on these pieces. Anything to keep them looking new and/or remove minor surface scratches?

I've used Black Magic for yrs...seems to work well and lasts for several washes

I've used Back to Black for years on the unpainted satin black trim on my Cooper S. We painted out all the black lower trim on the turbo at delivery, so I don't have a need. But I like B2B just fine and it does the job.

Awesome ride, have you thought about getting all those pieces painted to match the car?

You'll be shocked at how good it looks. IMO it's simply they way Porsche should deliver all turbos

I try a Turtle Wax product that clings to those plastic parts. I am trying it out on my cars and so far it seems to do quite well. I bought it at Pep Boys.

I would suggest cleaning very will with APC and coating the surface with a permanant trim product like GTechnig C4 or Cquartz deluxe. I have used the C4 and read good reviews on the Cquartz deluxe written by people I know.

Anything else will be a constant maintenance product requireing re application after every wash and possible in-between washes. If it were me I would either take care of it permanently or just leave it alone.
